Why do spirits not move on? That's a simple one to answer, really. They have unfinished business, whether it's finding justice against the one who killed them or protecting their still-living family. Or perhaps they just want to cause a little mischief.

What buildings are the most likely to be haunted? Older buildings have a bigger chance of being haunted, due to history. There's also the factor of location. Think your house is haunted? Do some research, maybe you're living on a Civil War battlefield and your house was a field hospital. Or your house was unknowingly built on top of an ancient Native American burial ground.

When was the first known case of a haunting? In first-century A.D, the Roman author Pliny reported the ghost of an old man with a long beard rattling chains, was haunting his house in Athens.

Has it been shown that spirits can haunt robots? While not been documented as of right now, it is POSSIBLE that spirits could take over a robot and use it to move around and interact with the living world. This is a common occurrence in the horror video game genre, the most well-known being Five Night At Freddy's, which while having an overlying story of just trying to survive attacks from killer robots, there's something a little more sinister going on underneath- the robots are possessed by the souls of dead children murdered by a certain William Afton - The Purple Guy.

Why are people afraid of spirits? People can be afraid of ghosts for many reasons, maybe they feel like they are being watched or they're being judged for something horrific they did in the past. The ghosts of their crimes follow them wherever they go.

What can a spirit do to cause harm to the living? Throw objects, push them off something- anything really.

What's the most haunted building in Iowa? The most famous for sure is the Villisca Axe Murder House, and probably the most haunted, with the possibility of eight ghosts.

Most haunted in America? One of the most haunted places in America could very well be Alcatraz.
